Welcome to the consumer section of the Irish Insurance Federation's (IIF) website.

IIF itself is not an insurer but is the representative body for insurance companies in Ireland.

This section of the website is designed to provide useful and, where possible, jargon free information about insurance for consumers. It also contains details of the FREE Insurance Information Service (IIS) which IIF operates to assist the public with any queries or complaints they may have.
